THE POWER OF FAITH
Matthew 21:19 And seeing a fig tree by the wayside,
he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves.
And he said to it, "May no fruit ever come from you again!"
And the fig tree withered at once.
Mat 21:20 When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying,
"How did the fig tree wither at once?"
Mat 21:21 And Jesus answered them,
"Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt,
you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree,
but even if you say to this mountain,
'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' it will happen.
Mat 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer,
you will receive, if you have faith."
The power of faith is an amazing thing.
God has given you and me the unlimited authority
to use the name of Jesus against all of the devils schemes.
But there is a question we need to ask ourselves.
Are there limits to the power of God?
Maybe a better way of stating that question is this.
“Is there a way you and I limit the power of God in our lives?”
Is it possible to limit what God wants to do in and through us?
Absolutely! Can God heal a cancer victim through you?
Can He change the mindset of a suicidal friend through you?
Can He break the power of an addiction through you?
The answer is yes!
But what about the person who knows Jesus as Lord and Savior
but never really exercises his authority and faith?
Wouldn’t it be a terrible thing to get to heaven one day and have to say to God…I’m sorry God for not using what you gave me.
As teenagers you stand at the most exciting time in history.
Why? Because it’s your history.
Let this time in your life be one of Holy Ghost exploration.
Let God use you. Let Him unleash His power and glory
through you as you stand in faith.
Let your faith become a mountain moving faith!
Explore the land of faith and power by laying hands on the sick,
praying for the broken, and taking back what the enemy has stolen.
Move that mountain!
We love all of you!
